The Studio
You’re building something with care. A brand that reflects your values, a creative practice in motion, or a personal chapter that feels worth remembering. You want your visuals to feel aligned—honest, refined, and full of meaning. You want someone who can see the story beneath the surface and help bring it forward, with clarity and intention.
That’s where I come in.
photographer, creative director, model, mother, and storyteller. My creative journey began early, shaped by a deep sensitivity to detail and a love for honest expression. I picked up my first film camera—a Canon AE-1 gifted to me on my 19th birthday—and something in me shifted. What began as a personal practice became a professional path: one rooted in intuition, clarity, and care.
I’m Puerto Rican, born into a culture of rhythm, warmth, and resourcefulness—qualities that continue to inform how I create and connect. Travel is one of the ways I return to myself; it deepens my curiosity and reminds me of the beauty found in the in-between. That’s the lens I bring to every project: intentional, observant, quietly attuned to what matters.
Over the years, I’ve worked across creative industries—both freelance and in-house, behind the lens and in front of it. From beauty and wellness to apparel and lifestyle, my experience is wide-ranging and personal. I’ve cast campaigns, built brand strategy, created content, and helped shape visual worlds. I understand the nuances because I’ve lived them—and I carry that ease and empathy into every collaboration.
In 2024, the birth of my son invited a necessary pause. It asked me to slow down, reflect, and get clear on how I wanted to show up. From that stillness, Studio Who was born.
Studio Who is, on the surface, a creative studio offering photography, content creation, and creative direction. But at its core, it’s something quieter—a space for reflection, for telling true stories, for asking who you are becoming and how your work can honor that.
From time to time, I share travel notes, studio updates, or open calls through the newsletter. You’re welcome to sign up [here]. And if you’re a fellow creative—maker, muse, or collaborator—send me a note with what you do. I’d love to add you to the roster.
Con amor,
Alexandra
